The article studies the manifestation of the Iranian factor in the geo-economic processes taking place in the Global South at the present stage. Attention, first of all, is paid to the study of interaction between Iran and the states of the Global South in the trade, economic, transport, logistics and energy spheres. As a result of the study, the author comes to the conclusion that the importance of Iran in international economic interaction carried out along the South-South line is increasing in modern conditions. This is facilitated by the growing mutual interest of Iran and the states of the Global South in cooperation in the context of increasing turbulence in the world economy and world politics. The effectiveness of interaction in these areas will largely depend on the development of thoughtful solutions that meet the development needs of the economies of Iran and its partners from the countries of the Global South, as well as on finding mutually acceptable approaches to the implementation of strategic international economic projects of China and India, primarily in the Eurasian space.
