The article provides a comprehensive analysis of the Trilateral Declaration of August 8, 2025, between the USA, Armenia, and Azerbaijan, centered on the creation of the new Trump Route for International Peace and Prosperity. The study aims to assess the legal, economic, and strategic consequences of this agreement for the balance of power in the South Caucasus, with a focus on the interests of the Russian Federation. The methodological basis of the work includes content analysis of the declaration text, and a SWOT analysis of the project’s implementation prospects. It is concluded that the agreement constitutes a comprehensive strategic challenge, marking a transition from the Russian mediation model to economic and logistical integration under US patronage. This leads to the potential displacement of Russia from its traditional sphere of influence, the weakening of the INSTC’s positions, and the fragmentation of Eurasian logistics. Special attention is paid to the risks to Armenia’s sovereignty and the phenomenon of the region’s “Americanization”.
