Families of Foreign Labor Migrants with Children as Specific Group at Social Risk

Andrianova R.A.

Abstract

A migrant family with children is characterized as a special social risk group. Markers of social disadvantage of migrant families who find themselves in a difficult life situation or socially dangerous situation have been identified. The specific socialization of a child in migrant enclaves is considered as an obstacle to integration into the host society and as a factor of social and psychological disorientation in the new educational environment. The relationship between academic failure and behavioral deviations of a student from a migrant family is substantiated. It has been proven that successfully passing the Russian language proficiency test for mastering the Russian educational program, which is mandatory in Russian schools in the current 2025, is a timely and optimal solution to reduce negative trends in the educational environment. It is proved that the full-fledged linguistic adaptation of a student from a migrant family in a new educational space is also important for his psychoemotional well-being in a new peer community. Ways to reduce the risks of marginalization of migrant families with children and reduce their destructive activity were identified. It is proposed to pay attention not only to migrant families, but also to families who have recently moved to Russia. The integration of migrants into the new socio-cultural space is considered as a complex process involving awareness of the norms of Russian legislation, a desire to adopt the norms, rules, values, traditions of the host society and a willingness to develop intercultural communication skills. The role of interdepartmental cooperation in ensuring the social security of Russian society in the context of new challenges and threats associated with the formation of migrant enclaves in the Russian Federation is emphasized.
