The article is dedicated to pan-Turkism as a tool for the implementation of the expansionist aspirations of the Republic of Turkey. With the arrival of R.T. Erdogan to power, the country has set a course for the gradual return of Turkey to the global politics. The leitmotif of pan- Turkism, coupled with neo-Ottomanism, has gradually become the driving force behind Turkey’s foreign policy movement. The peculiarity of Turkish pan-Turkism has become “pan-Turkism”, aimed at cultural and political unification of all Turkic peoples under the auspices of Turkey.
